EducatorGreg Wolcott is the Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning in Woodridge, IL, a suburb of Chicago, and the author of the best-selling book, "Significant 72: Unleashing the Power of Relationships in Today's Schools". An educator for over 25 years, Greg is passionate about developing opportunities for all students to succeed.
ConsultantGreg works with schools across North America on radically redefining the role relationships play in classrooms. Greg draws upon research from the fields of education, social psychology, positive psychology, and neuroscience to provide interactive professional development opportunities to educators at all levels.
Greg consults on a variety of subjects, including enhancing teacher-student relationships, creating psychological safety in the classroom and staff room, enhancing students engagement through strength-based behavioral approaches, developing innovative practices in the classroom to engage all learners, formative assessment to drive instruction, response to instruction/intervention, multi-tiered systems of support, and data usage for school improvement. Additionally, Greg has designed many surveys and instructional instruments to help leaders identify, monitor, and inform areas of growth and opportunities within schools. PresenterGreg has presented dozens of national and international events, including the National School Board Association National Conference, the National Conference on Bullying, the ASCD Annual Conference, the NAESP (National Association of Elementary School Principals) Annual Conference, the Illinois ASCD Curriculum Leadership Development Network, the Illinois ASCD Conference on Learning, the Annual No Child Left Behind Conference and the ATEC (Association of Teachers of Exceptional Children) Conference in Nova Scotia, Canada.
